No, you do not need a doctor's referral to see us under ACC. Both Chiropractor and Physiotherapist are primary healthcare providers in New Zealand. We can lodge and register your ACC claim directly in-house during your first visit.
-
ACC covers physical injuries caused by a specific accident or event in New Zealand—whether it happened at home, during sports or gym training, at work, or in a motor vehicle accident. Common covered conditions include sprains, strains, lower back injuries, joint impact, and neck injuries.
-
We can easily transfer or treat under your existing, open ACC claim number. Just bring your ACC claim number or ACC decision letter to your initial appointment, and our team will handle the rest.

For initial chiropractic appointments, we recommend wearing fitted or snug-fitting athletic wear (such as leggings, shorts, or a tight shirt). Form-fitting clothing helps our postural analysis scanning software detect land-markers accurately, providing clearer visual reference lines for your baseline posture report. For physiotherapy or acupuncture visits, loose, comfortable clothing works well.
